As the cast of Money Heists prepares for the first episode of their fourth season, they’ve also been busy with a series of gigs in China.
While filming the season 4 premiere in Beijing, the cast and crew met up with a local news station to get some more footage to show off their latest look, which they posted to Instagram.
The video shows the crew getting ready for the shoot.
“There are still so many scenes, and it’s hard to keep up with all the footage,” said cast member Liza Pacheco.
“I have to ask, how do you stay up with that?”
One of the scenes shown is a very special moment, in which the cast members try to convince a local man that he’s the man who stole a car full of money.
“You want me to do this?” the man asks the crew as he takes off his mask and his hair piece.
“We want to be honest.
He’s the one who stole the money,” says Liza, adding: “So we’re going to say the man stole it.
We’re going back to the scene where the man first saw the money.”
The team went on to say that the money was stolen from a car in the shopping district, and that the man is still on the run.
“The scene where they say, ‘Hey, this is the man that stole the car’,” says Lizzie, adding that they didn’t have to wait long to find out who they were talking about.
“So when we say we’re really scared of him, that’s because we know who he is,” she says.
The cast has also been filming a new episode for the next season, which will feature the first time they’ve all appeared together as the cast.
The latest episode, titled Money Heist, was filmed on a busy day at a Chinese bank in Beijing on March 5, and the team says they hope to be back for the premiere on May 3.
“It was really good to be able to shoot and be together again, and to show people that we’re all in it together,” said Liza.
The team have also been getting ready to host their first TV special.
“This is what we’ve always wanted,” Liza says, referring to the series of new episodes that will air on CCTV.
“And we’re very excited to be doing this special, so we’re trying to keep it as fresh as possible.”
